Under 12s make it a FAB 4

BUJFC Under 12s have won their league to make it four league Champions for BUJFC this season.  Congratulations to Mick and his players.  Well done.

Parents Game

We have been challenged by Birstall United  Senior Vets to a game on FA Cup Final Morning , Sat 17 May, 11am Kick-off against us and Birstall United Juniors Vets (over 35ish). Any coach or parent interested in playing should let Ken Jordan know asap at thebadgers@ntlworld.com. This will be a slow but serious game against very good opposition

BUJFC Under 16s finished runners up in their league this season.  Congratulations!

Goalkeeper Training

Stop Press: Change of date: The next goalkeeper training session will now be 26th April 11am till 12am (not the 3rd May).
The cost is £20 divided by the amount of keepers (ie if there are 5 keepers, then 20 divided by 5 = £4 each)

Double Win for BUJFC at Mablethorpe Tournament

BUJFC Under 9 Foxes and Under 11s won their respective leagues at the Mablethorpe football tournament held over the weekend of 29/30 March 2008.

Congratulations to both sets of players, managers and coaches.

The U8 cubs finished runners up scoring a massive 92 goals and conceding only 6!
what a great first season!

HAT-TRICK OF CHAMPIONS

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FOLLOWING TEAMS FOR WINNING THEIR RESPECTIVE DIVISIONS:

UNDER 13s - E DIVISION CHAMPIONS 2007/08

UNDER 10 HOUNDS - DIVISION 16 CHAMPIONS 2007/08

UNDER 11s - DIVISION 3 NORTH CHAMPIONS 2007/08

The club house has been broken into and lots of valuable equipment has been stolen, including the generator, a television, light fittings, kitchen stock, tea urn and flood lights.

Birstall United Juniors FC are once again hosting their "International" Tournament as part of the 30-year exchange tour between Etoille of France and Birstall United Juniors.

This 2-day event for Under 13 boys also includes Mini Soccer competition for mixed Under 7, 8 and 9's and a Girls Festival of Football for Under 11 and Under 13 girl’s teams.

Teams wishing to join us for this fantastic event are urged to book early as places quickly fill.

The clubhouse has now re-opened following the recent refurbishment. Refreshments are available on Saturday mornings during training.
