BUJFC becomes a Charter Standard Community
Club
Birstall United Football Juniors FC has been awarded Charter
Standard Community Club Status by the Leicestershire and Rutland County FA in
recognition of its multi-team set up and excellent social, training and playing
opportunities for all . Only 5 other clubs in the County have reached this level
and so this is outstanding achievement for the club. Community Clubs are
the pinnacle of the club development pathway and build upon the foundations of
the Charter Standard scheme in placing clubs at the heart of their community.

Delight in Leicester as grassroots club nets
£5k grant
Local footballers in Birstall, Leicestershire, are set for a major
sporting boost following the news that they will receive a Grow the Game grant
of £5,000 from the Football Foundation towards developing new football teams. To
celebrate their win Birstall United Juniors Football Club will be presented with
a large cheque at a ceremony taking place on Thursday 14th July 2011 at Meadow
Lane Birstall Leicester LE4 4FJ from 6.00pm. The event will be supported by
members of the club and representatives from Leicestershire and Rutland County
FA.

We are setting up an Inclusive (Disability)
Football team
BUJFC are setting up an inclusive team which is open to males and females, from the age of 8 years
up to 18 years of age, who have a learning, physical or sensory disability or
special need. You will be able to train
every week, wear the kit and play in the County Inclusive Football League. We
have the full backing of the Leicestershire and Rutland County FA and we are a
charter standard club, which means you will be joining a friendly club which
offers a high standard of coaching and child welfare. To register your
